Each student will submit a 2-page (minimum) written think piece or  1-page created art piece, with a 1-page description that focuses on an issue/concern impacting Black women in the United States.”An article in a newspaper, magazine, or journal presenting personal opinions, analysis, or discussion, rather than bare facts” (Dictionary.com, 2018). This is an opportunity for you to share your personal opinion or analysis on an issue/concern impacting Black women. 

Art piece: Art– “The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power” (oxfordictionaries.com, 2018).
